Jeff was born and raised in Vermont. During the early 80's, while serving four years active duty in the United States Air Force as an Avionic Technician, Jeff spent much of that time simultaneously enrolled in the Business Administration and Marketing program at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma where he was stationed.
Soon after completing his military commitment, he accepted an offer from the Boeing Company to join the Peace Sentinel Program as an electronics technician and trainer for the Royal Saudi Air Force in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a 3 year contract. Upon returning to the States in 1989, Jeff continued working for Boeing in the Seattle area on various military and commercial airline projects.
During that same time, Jeff began turning his attention toward investment real estate in his off hours, buying substandard residential properties and rehabbing them for resale. This "hobby" eventually led him to launch his own real estate sales career in 1993. Since then he has developed a thriving real estate practice, the Hurley Real Estate Group under the RE/MAX and John L. Scott franchises, with gross sales averaging between $7 to $10 million dollars annually, with 90% off that production based on past client referrals.
Over the past 18 years, Jeff has worked as a real estate investor, landlord, property developer, loan officer, general contractor, and 15 of those years as a REALTOR, in both residential and commercial real estate sales and marketing. He has two advanced certifications held only by 5% of Realtors nationally; that of Graduate of the Realtor Institute, and the elite Council of Residential Specialists.
In December of 2003, following the redevelopment of one of their buildings in Auburn, Washington, Jeff, and his wife Connie launched Hometown Office Suites and Services, Inc. (HOSS), a full service office business center and executive suite. Within a year, the HOSS building was at capacity with a waiting list for future openings. In the Fall of 2006, Jeff took the same Auburn model to a larger scale and opened a 12,000 square foot, 60 office business center in nearby Federal Way.
As the business and his vision grows, Jeff sees a network of class "A", suburban Office Business Centers under the HOSS brand throughout the Puget Sound region, Washington State and perhaps some day, nationally.
